About the job Welder

Candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years offshore experience as a welder

Candidate shall have a secondary school certificate (class 10) or a diploma.
• Responsible for execution of all welding works during mobilization of barges/ vessels/cargo barge and during offshore campaigns.
• In charge of applying the QA/QC procedures for controlling and the correct baking, warming, making and logging of electrodes.
• Responsible for applying the approved welding procedures and techniques based on project requirements.
• Responsible to control welding , gouging and cutting in all areas and to ensure that proper permits are obtained prior to commence working on hazardous surfaces .
• Responsible to Coordinate with welding inspectors and third party NDT personnel.
• Responsible for Close monitoring of consumption of welding electrodes and other related material and report short-falls or request replenishment ahead of time to warehouse and field engineer.
