The Role & ProjectMACA are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our business across a number of projects with the opportunity to work on heavy mobile equipment. Our social responsibility is what drives us, and we make an impact through contributions and support we give our communities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance in line with manufacturers and management requirements.Diagnosing, repairing and overhauling plant and equipment including but not limited to trucks, drill rigs and generators.Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components.Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel systems.Testing repaired parts for performance.Using computers and specialised tools to diagnose and repair faults.Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will PossessCertificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.Automotive Airconditioning licence.Experience working on Heavy mobile mining equipment - CAT, Komatsu, Epiroc.Ability to perform preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of heavy mobile plant equipment.Excellent communication skills.HR Drivers Licence preferable.Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies.What We Will Offer YouFIFO 2:1 roster (7 days, 7 nights, 7 days R&R)Ongoing training and development for you to progress your career.Above market Full Time or Casual pay rates available - You ChooseSuper paid on all hours worked!Supportive management and close-knit team environmentOpportunity to work across various fleets and locationsAccess salary sacrificing options through MaxxiaThere are many long-term opportunities available across our business, and more on the horizon.
