As the primary onsite point of contact at a small hotel, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional property standards and delivering a seamless guest experience.This hands-on role has a strong focus on housekeeping and overall property presentation. You will take ownership of the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are consistently cleaned, well-maintained, and presented in line with Veriu standards.A significant portion of the role involves personally undertaking and overseeing housekeeping tasks, including room cleaning, public area upkeep, linen handling, and quality assurance checks. During periods of increased demand, the Property Host will coordinate an additional housekeeper to support room turnover.Beyond housekeeping responsibilities, you will also support onsite guest services by preparing for contactless arrivals, responding promptly to guest enquiries and issues, and acting as the hotel’s onsite duty manager during opening hours. The role includes managing basic maintenance concerns, incident reporting, draft rostering, linen and inventory control, and coordinating VIP amenities.With a strong attention to detail and pride in presentation, combined with a warm and professional communication style, the Property Host ensures smooth daily operations and a high-quality guest experience.
