This is a permanent part-time (0.3FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026Malibu School is an education support K to 12 school located in Safety Bay as a part of the South Metropolitan Education Region for students with intellectual disability, physical disability, sensory impairments (vision and hearing), challenging behaviours and/or autistic spectrum disorders.Malibu School has a strong reputation for providing a high quality education for students whose needs are high and complex. Grounds and office staff, education assistants and social trainers, teachers and leadership teams make up a strong community committed to providing individualised, challenging and rewarding learning experiences that are responsive to students' unique learning needs.Find out more about our school by visiting malibuschool.wa.edu.au or Schools Online .The RoleThe Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the college, including setting the security alarm system and conducting twice daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual.
