It’s an exciting time to join the team and be part of our continued expansion across Australia.If you enjoy working on complex machines, solving technical problems, and supporting customers across a range of industries, this is a great opportunity to be part of a team that values quality, innovation, and collaboration.About The RoleAs a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing and supporting a range of packaging and automation equipment — including pallet wrappers, case packers, palletisers, and form fill seal machines. Your work will include breakdown response, fault finding, routine servicing, and machinery upgrades and commissioning.You’ll travel to customer sites (locally, regionally, and interstate) and be part of our journey toward continually improving processes, where your feedback is valued and supported by a strong in-house team.Description:What you’ll be doing: Performing mechanical servicing and repairs on automated packaging equipment at customer sites Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting, with support to obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence if needed Responding to breakdowns and getting customers back up and running quickly and safely Conducting routine maintenance and preventative service visits Supporting equipment upgrades and installations as your experience grows Collaborating with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently Communicating clearly with customers and providing professional service reports and recommendationsWhat you’ll bring: A mechanical and/or electrical trade qualification or experience working on industrial machinery, ideally in packaging, automation, or manufacturing A solid understanding of electrical systems with a full or restricted electrical licence (or willingness to obtain) A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a strong commitment to safety Confidence working independently and engaging professionally with customers A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel (a fully maintained vehicle is provided) Comfortable using mobile devices and job-tracking systems for reporting Eligibility to work, applicants must have the legal right to work in AustraliaWe value diversity and are actively seeking technicians from all backgrounds.
