How You’ll Make The Right ImpactAs a Linehaul Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations and delivered within a Timely Manner to all customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:Load and unload products safely and in accordance with customer requirements, company policy and delivery schedulesCarry out daily vehicle inspections, ensuring any issues (potential or current) are raised accordingly and in line with the relevant Toll Group standards and proceduresComply with all legislated road laws and regulations, including both private and public networksConduct all tasks within a customers’ site or in public arena with professionalismAttend and complete all relevant training as required by both Toll and the customerActively participate and attend safety and toolbox meetingsActively participate in incident investigationsAlways operate equipment in a safe manner and within operating processes and proceduresComplete all paperwork required by both Toll and the customer to a high standard including use of Electronic Work Diaries Report all defects, hazards, near misses and incidents in an efficient mannerConduct all dealings with honesty and integrityEnsure high levels of customer serviceWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for motivated professionals who bring:Ability to work both autonomously and in a close team environmentProvide flexibility for the various distribution tasks requiredAbility to interact with a diverse team at all levels of the organisation’s hierarchyInterpersonal awarenessAbility to problem solveOpenness and integrityStrong customer focusAbility to interpret and follow work procedures and instructionsEligibility to make the gradeTo apply for this role, you must:Be an Australian Citizen.
