BOILERMAKER WELDER – DAY SHIFT X 1 | AFTERNOON SHIFT X 2Day Shift:Rate = $46.83 + SuperShift = 5:30am – 1:30pm (Opportunity of 2 hours daily overtime and 8 hours on Saturday as required)Afternoon Shift:Rate = $53.85 + SuperShift = 3:30pm – 11:30pm (Opportunity of 2 hours daily overtime and 8 hours on Saturday as required)Our Para Hills West Head Office—home since 1983—houses one of Liebherr’s key global facilities for the manufacture and repair of large-scale mining buckets. Our in-house South Australian fabrication facility produces buckets for the full range of Liebherr excavators, engineered specifically to withstand the demands of Australian mining conditions.About the Role:About the Role: As a qualified and experienced Boilermaker/Welder, you’ll apply your trade skills to fabricate and weld Liebherr OEM Mining Excavator Buckets in our modern workshop at Para Hills West. This is a hands-on role working on large, heavy-duty components used in mining operations around Australia. You’ll work as part of a skilled team that takes pride in producing high quality work, safely and efficiently.We are committed to safe, well organised work and supporting our team to do the job properly. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy working as a team, we’d like to hear from you.Skills and Duties:Fabricate and weld OEM Mining Excavator Buckets to a high standard.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.Perform FCAW welding and air arc gouging.Work to internal OEM and international recognised acceptance criteria.Operate workshop plant and mobile equipment safely.Maintain a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Produce high quality workmanship that meets and exceed business and customer requirements.Work independently when required and as a part of a team.CompetenciesEssential Requirements:Australian Trade Qualified – Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication). Experience with heavy plate fabrication.Experience with Flux Core welding (FCAW).Experience working with permit to work systems.Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers!Desirable Requirements:Hold a current confined space ticketScissor Lift (Yellow Card)Forklift and Dogging/Rigging LicencesCandidates are advised that a Welding Assessment is required as part of the Interview Process.Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.Our OfferOur Offer:At Liebherr, we value your well-being.
