Toll Group is seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer to join our team in Wacol, supporting driver capability, compliance and operational excellence across our business.In this specialised role, you will deliver high‑quality training, coaching and assessment for Toll drivers, ensuring they meet legislative requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations. You’ll play a vital role in shaping safe work practices, improving driver performance, and strengthening our culture of safety and continuous improvement.The position plays a key role in the ongoing training and development of drivers to increase service quality and manage the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and the environment, as well as meeting customer contractual requirements.Primary Responsibilities And Decisions –Deliver a range of driver training programs, including induction, onboarding, equipment operation, and refresher training.Conduct driver competency assessments for both pre‑employment and existing employees, providing detailed reports and recommendations.Coach drivers in safe, compliant and efficient work practices, including fatigue management and load restraint.Maintain training records, documentation and mandatory compliance requirements in line with Toll standards.Support investigations into driver incidents and help implement corrective actions.Collaborate with Training Managers to analyse training needs and plan forward‑looking training schedules.Assist in developing high‑quality training materials using adult learning methodologies.What You Will Bring For Success –Skilled and competent heavy vehicle driver/MHE operator (LF Ticket and MC preferred).Experience as a qualified trainer and assessor with strong coaching capability.Solid understanding of transport compliance, including HV mass management, fatigue management, dangerous goods and road transport rules.Strong knowledge of WHS principles, quality systems, and transport operations.Excellent communication, presentation, problem‑solving and documentation skills.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across teams.Proficiency in IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Learning Management Systems.Required Qualifications & Licences -Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment.Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (MC preferred).Forklift licence is a must.What We OfferJoin a large iconic transport company and grow your skillset within the Toll business.Career Growth & Development: Opportunities for training, upskilling, and career progression.Join us and take your career to new heights in the fast-paced world of logistics!What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
