ROLE – Draftsperson SALARY - $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, dependent on experienceTYPE – PermanentLOCATION – Southwest Sydney, NSWMy client designs and manufactures bespoke equipment. They are looking for a Draftsperson to join their team in the Southwest Sydney area on a permanent basis.The Draftsperson will ideally have the following attributes:At least 2 years of experience in a similar Drafting / CAD positionRelevant qualification in Engineering, Drafting or similarProficient with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD or similarExperience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentationStrong attention to detail Good understanding of engineering drawingsAbility to interpret engineering concepts and translate them into accurate drawingsExperience maintaining drawing registers and document control systemsAble to manage workload and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to work within a team The Draftsperson role will involve:Creating 2D drawings and 3D models from engineering conceptsProducing detailed manufacturing and assembly drawingsUpdating and revising existing drawings and documentationWorking closely with engineers to support design developmentLiaising with manufacturing teams and external suppliersEnsuring drawings comply with relevant standards and specificationsMaintaining accurate records of drawings and revisionsAssisting with BOM creation and updatesChecking drawings prior to release for accuracy and completenessSupporting projects across the full design lifecycleIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
