Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Ability to manage own time and others to meet agreed timeframe and projects. Experience operating High Speed manufacturing equipment. Mechanical Aptitude – understanding of fundamental principles. An understanding of manufacturing systems and processes Able to work on tasks autonomously. Exhibits self-motivation and takes responsibility for actions. Demonstrates a strong solutions-focused approach to work and problem-solving skills.About You Demonstrates an ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all tasks are carried out as per Standard Operating Procedures and that components or assemblies comply with quality assurance standards. Adjust setting guides, stops and other controls during production to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops. Following procedures and interpret specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings. Checking fabricated and assembled parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using a variety of measuring and testing Instruments. Consistently produce components or assemblies to the required quality standard and within the designated cycle time. Notify supervision of Safety, Component or Equipment issues in a timely manner and undertake/or assist with the required mechanical remedial repair. Carry out daily pre-start checks on machine and material handling equipment. Seek to learn new tasks and become multi-skilled. Assist with the repair and maintenance of production machinery. Contribute to improvement activities through sharing of ideas and teamwork.
