Foreign plumbers require a LMRA work permit and Article 75 employment visa sponsored by a registered Bahraini employer. The employer submits the application online via LMRA portal, with approval typically within 5 working days after medical screening. Plumbers must enter on a visit visa first if not direct hire.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Development (MLSD), plumbers need at least 2 years of verified experience or a vocational training certificate equivalent to ITI Level 2 in plumbing.
