Job Description
Reporting to the foreman, our plumbers must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. They will follow project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing systems and accessories.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, and specifications to determine the design/layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and wall and floor fittings using measuring tools, such as levels and plumb bobs.
• Cut and bore holes in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread and connect pipes using hand and power tools or machines, such as pipe cutters, benders, and threading machines.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment, according to the specifications and requirements of the plumbing system.
• Check pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges and other specialized testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot plumbing system problems and identify appropriate solutions.
• Support the growth and development of company culture
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements:
• 2 years of working experience as a Plumber
• Active Journeyperson designation on STO
• Knowledge of Federal/Provincial building codes.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day working in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms
• Must be able to climb scaffoldings.
