Position: Emergency Plumber
Location: Oakville, ON, Mississauga, ON
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, on-call availability required
Hours: Approximately 20 to 40 hours per week depending on emergency service volume
Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
Saturday Rate: 1.5x hourly pay

About the Role

We are currently hiring an experienced Emergency Plumber to respond to urgent residential and commercial plumbing service calls throughout Oakville and Mississauga. This role is best suited for someone dependable, responsive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Emergency availability is a key part of this position, as the majority of calls involve urgent plumbing issues requiring immediate response.

This is not a passive role. Most of our work comes from emergency situations, and availability is critical.

What You’ll Do
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls including clogged drains, sewage backups, leaks, and toilet overflows
• Diagnose plumbing issues on-site and recommend effective solutions
• Perform drain cleaning, snaking, and general plumbing repairs
• Maintain professionalism and strong customer service during stressful situations
• Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and ready for dispatch
• Ensure quick response times and reliable communication during scheduled shifts

What You Bring
• Minimum two years of plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of drain systems and emergency plumbing repairs
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record preferred
• Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently
• Comfortable handling urgent service calls and high-pressure environments
• Plumbing Apprentices Level 3 and above with strong drain and service experience are encouraged to apply

Work Environment
• On-call emergency service environment
• Must remain fully available and reachable during scheduled shifts
• Ability to respond quickly and dispatch immediately when calls come in
• Cannot work another job during scheduled on-call hours
