HIRING IMMEDIATELY | $44/hour | Calgary Journeyperson Plumber/Gas Fitter | Red Seal | Early Friday Finish | Full Benefits + 1.5x OT

Analog Mechanical is actively hiring experienced Red Seal journeyperson plumbers and gas fitters for commercial and multi-family plumbing projects across Calgary and the surrounding area. WHY YOU'LL WANT THIS ROLE

$44/hour depending on experience | 1.5x overtime pay

Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM - 3:45 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (early finish every week, not just sometimes)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll be doing real commercial plumbing work - not service calls, not residential renos. Your day-to-day on Analog's job sites includes:

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and mechanical systems on commercial and multi-family residential construction projects (new builds, office-to-residential conversions, and tenant improvements)

Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, specifications, and mechanical drawings

Roughing in and finishing plumbing systems to code on multi-storey commercial and residential builds

Installing and connecting gas lines, boilers, hydronic systems, and mechanical room equipment

Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on active construction sites

Ensuring all work meets Alberta building codes, safety standards, and quality expectations

Completing Field Level Hazard Assessments daily

Mentoring apprentices and supporting crew productivity

Working collaboratively with other trades on coordinated job sites

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber certification (Alberta Journeyman considered with strong commercial experience)

Gas Fitter certification (Class B minimum)

Minimum 3 years of commercial or multi-family construction plumbing experience (not just residential service)

CSTS (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification

Current Standard First Aid certificate

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Proficient in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications

Strong assets (not required, but we'll notice):

Boiler installation and maintenance experience

Hydronic heating system experience

Mechanical room installation experience

Experience on multi-storey commercial builds (hospitals, condos, office towers, schools)

Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices

Previous work with a recognized Calgary mechanical contractor

WORKING CONDITIONS

This role is on active construction sites - commercial and multi-family buildings across Calgary and surrounding area. You'll be working indoors and outdoors depending on the project phase. Frequent travel between job sites within Calgary. Physical demands include lifting, bending, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
