TIG Fitter Welder (Afternoon Shift) Job Description TIG Fitter Welder (Afternoon Shift) Weston Rd & Finch, Toronto, ON MondayFriday | 3: PM : PM (based on experience) Temp-to-permanent (after 3 months) About the Role Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial vacuum (HVAC) systems, is seeking an experienced TIG/ Fitter Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and well-established company. Key Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and drawings to select and assemble components Operate saws to cut bars, tubes, and angles to required specifications Roll flat sheets into round and conical shapes (training provided) Fit and assemble parts according to technical drawings Perform final welding with minimal supervision Work primarily with stainless steel (1/'' to 1/4'' thickness) Welding processes: % TIG (GTAW) / % MIG (GMAW) Assist with general fabrication and shop duties as required Training Provided Sheet rolling equipment operation Brake press setup and operation Equipment safety certifications Requirements Minimum 5 years of TIG welding experience (MIG experience is an asset) Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder fitter , preferably with stainless steel Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and/or mild steel Ability to read and interpret blueprints CWB certification (GMAW) is an asset Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with heavy lifting What Our Client Offers Competitive hourly pay based on experience Afternoon shift schedule (no weekends) Opportunity for permanent hire after 3 months Training and skill development opportunities If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for to be successful in this role please apply online, email or fax your resume to Heather Boreham. fax to --7 Employer!
