About the Role

Unity Recruitments Inc. is currently hiring an experienced MIG Welder for our client in Mississauga. We are looking for a skilled and reliable individual with strong welding experience who can produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up and operate welding machines and related tools
• Inspect welded surfaces and ensure quality standards are met
• Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
• Measure and align materials accurately for welding
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements
• 2–3 years of MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Experience using grinders, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials when required
• Reliable and punctual
