No minimum education or prior experience is required for entry-level cleaning roles. New hires must complete WSQ Basic Cleaning course (14 hours) within 3 months for PWM compliance. Age requirement is at least 18 years for full Employment Act coverage.

Locals need NRIC, resume, and any certificates; foreigners require passport, medical insurance, and fitness declaration submitted by employer via MOM's WP Online system. Processing takes 3-5 weeks for Work Permits. Physical fitness proof like medical exam is mandatory for approval.
