Company Overview:

Tri Star Freight System, Inc., a leader in the transportation/trucking industry, is looking for an Over the Road Intermodal Company Driver to join our Houston, TX team! We offer per-mile pay, starting Houston, TX Regional/OTR truck drivers at $0.59 cents per mile.

Additionally, we offer our drivers a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus – paid in increments (60, 120, 180 and 365 days) and a very competitive benefits package that includes 100% Company Paid Profit Sharing and much more.

What We Offer:
• Local - $26.25 Per Hour (0-100 Miles From the Port)
• Regional - $0.80 CPM (101-200 Miles From the Port)
• OTR - $0.59 CPM (201+ Miles From the Port)
• Full Time Position

Intermodal Truck Driver Responsibilities:
• Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest, and have great customer service skills.

Driver Benefits Include:
• Paid $15.00 per hour for Breakdown / Maintenance
• Layover Pay is a flat rate of $150.00 (includes meals, hotel, rental car, etc.) if billable or dispatch error. Other instances will be reviewed as they occur.
• Detention / Waiting Time - 2 hours free, then hourly rate applies if billable (Driver must let dispatcher know if going into detention and detention must be signed off)
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus – paid in increments (60, 120, 180 and 365 days)
• Referral Bonus – paid in increments
• Paid weekly
• Fuel credit card (for diesel and def only, unless used for preventative maintenance or parts authorized by Fleet Manager). No personal usage allowed.

Job Requirements:

Must have:
• Required: Valid Class A – CDL
• Required: A minimum of 2 years’ Tractor-trailer operation
• Required: A minimum of 2 years’ OTR driving experience
• Required: Acceptable motor vehicle record (specific requirements may vary)
• Required: Must pass drug and other pre-employment requirements
• Required: TWIC Card holder (unexpired)

We do not accept SAP drivers or drivers that have ever been a part of the SAP program
