As a Security Officer Patrol Entrance Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with store leadership and Allied Universal as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe customer and employee activity, report concerns, and support loss prevention and policy compliance efforts.
• Assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas, and help maintain an orderly environment for shoppers and staff during opening, closing, and busy business hours.

Minimum Requirements:
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
