Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber with full gas certification to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems with a focus on gas lines in commercial and residential settings. Your expertise in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and pipe threading will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service on every project. Responsibilities
β€’ Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including gas lines, water supply, drainage, and venting in accordance with blueprints and schematics
β€’ Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting
β€’ Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete projects efficiently and safely
β€’ Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
β€’ Perform welding tasks for pipe connections and mechanical fittings as required for gas systems
β€’ Collaborate with team members including carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines
β€’ Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and compliance with safety standards
β€’ Assist in remodeling or renovation projects by providing plumbing expertise for upgrades or repairs

Experience
β€’ Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with full gas certification in construction environments
β€’ Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, HVAC integration, and mechanical components
β€’ Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, installation of gas lines, and use of hand tools and power tools
β€’ Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
β€’ Prior work on commercial or residential construction sites demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
β€’ Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations
β€’ Field service experience preferred for troubleshooting existing systems or performing maintenance tasks
