Job Details:
Emilia, Chef Greg Vernick's newest restaurant dedicated to the regional cuisines of Italy, is seeking a part-time experienced server, food runner and busser.
Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment, be eager to learn, and possess a desire to provide genuine hospitality to our guests. Candidates must be reliable, outgoing, organized, and should thrive in a team environment. Must be able to multi-task under pressure and communicate well.
The ideal candidates are:
• Naturally gracious and attentive to guest needs
• Experience serving in a fine dining atmosphere
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
• Professional, punctual, and proactive
• A strong interest in food, beverage, and hospitality
Server should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an upscale restaurant.

Food runners should have a minimum of 1 years' experience in hospitality preferably in a chef driven environment.

Bussers should have 1 years' experience in hospitality.

In 2016, Chef/Owner Gregory Vernick was named “Chef of the Year” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Vernick Food & Drink earned a 4-Bell re-review from restaurant critic Craig Laban who called it the “Best Overall Restaurant” in the city. Chef Vernick received the 2017 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, elevating the restaurant onto the National level. Vernick's other restaurants are Vernick Coffee Bar in the Comcast Technology Center, and the Michelin recognized Vernick Fish at the Four Seasons Hotel.
