Assisting licensed electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. Learning to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Pulling electrical wires and cables through conduits and raceways. Installing electrical devices such as outlets, switches, light fixtures, and control panels. Connecting wiring to electrical systems and ensuring proper connections. Troubleshooting electrical problems and performing basic repairs under supervision. Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits. Adhering to all national electrical codes and safety regulations. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment. Participating actively in on-the-job training and technical college courses. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. A keen interest in learning about electrical systems and trade work. Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and weather conditions. Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Own reliable transportation to and from the workplace and training facility. A valid driver's license is preferred.
