This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring tradespeople to gain hands-on experience and work towards becoming a qualified electrician. Based in **Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA**, this apprenticeship program offers structured on-the-job training combined with theoretical instruction to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge. You will work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of commercial projects, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Responsibilities will include pulling wires, connecting circuits, installing fixtures, reading blueprints, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and physical fitness are essential. You must be reliable, punctual, and possess good problem-solving skills. This role is not remote, requiring your full-time presence on project sites.

Responsibilities: Assist journeymen electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial buildings. Pull electrical wires through conduits and pathways. Install electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, and control panels. Connect wiring to control panels and other electrical equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting under supervision. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with national and local electrical codes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Learn and adhere to safety procedures and protocols on job sites. Assist with material handling and site preparation. Progress through required coursework and practical training modules.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong interest in pursuing a career as an electrician. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
