Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with applicable codes.
• Ensure system integration and engineering alignment on relevant projects.
• Install meters and obtain required verification codes.
• Build and wire electrical panels.
• Install and configure network and RS485 communication systems.
• Perform fault finding and rectify identified issues.
• Supervise installation activities where required.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timelines.
Qualifications
• Matric Certificate
• N6 Electrical qualification or similar
• Trade Test certification
• Wireman’s licence advantageous
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Minimum 2 years of project experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
