AC Technician (ITI Certified) Required – Electrical Preferred + Helper & Plumber in Manama

As per the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the minimum recruitable salary for plumbers (occupation code 3113) is BHD 250 per month as of January 2026. This salary threshold applies to all work permit applications for expatriate plumbers sponsored by Bahraini employers. Employers must pay via the Wage Protection System to comply.

Foreign plumbers require a LMRA work permit and Article 75 employment visa sponsored by a registered Bahraini employer. The employer submits the application online via LMRA portal, with approval typically within 5 working days after medical screening. Plumbers must enter on a visit visa first if not direct hire.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Development (MLSD), plumbers need at least 2 years of verified experience or a vocational training certificate equivalent to ITI Level 2 in plumbing. No formal university degree is required, but attestation of qualifications from the issuing country is mandatory for work permits.

Applicants must provide a valid passport copy, 4 passport photos, attested experience certificate, medical fitness report from approved GAMCA clinic costing BHD 45, and employer's commercial registration. All documents must be submitted by the sponsor via LMRA e-service, with processing fee of BHD 20 per permit as of 2026.
