Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with food safety standards.

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong time management and multitasking skills. The successful candidate will be a personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses excellent communication skills.

Duties
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
• Take orders accurately while providing friendly customer service
• Ensure proper food handling and food safety procedures are followed at all times
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils throughout the shift
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and promote specials or events
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food safety regulations

Qualifications
• Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Friendly personality with strong communication skills
• Smart serve certified.
