Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for food service.

Duties
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas following food safety guidelines
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns professionally

Skills
• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guests effectively
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
