Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
• Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
• Develop menu ideas that align with restaurant concept and customer preferences
• Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer satisfaction goals
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills in cooking, food safety, and customer service
• Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
• Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership, and professional growth
Qualifications
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
• Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
• Background in food service, kitchen experience, or the food industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop menus, oversee food quality, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for hospitality excellence
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
