Key Responsibilities:
Assist experienced welders in various tasks, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and performing basic welding operations. Learn and apply different welding techniques such as Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and TIG (GTAW). Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project requirements. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently under supervision. Perform basic maintenance on welding tools and equipment. Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications. Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the shop floor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Participate actively in all training sessions and workshops. Develop skills in cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components. Understand the properties of different metals and their welding requirements. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Gain experience in troubleshooting common welding issues. Learn about different types of welding consumables and their applications. Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and precision. Ideal Candidate Profile:
