Job Description
The hotel security guard ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by patrolling premises, monitoring CCTV systems, and controlling access. They handle emergencies (fire, medical), resolve guest conflicts, and investigate disturbances. Key tasks include securing doors, checking parking areas, and writing daily activity reports.

This is part-time, 8 pm to 6 am, Friday to Sunday.
Compensation:

$16 hourly

Responsibilities:
• Patrolling & Surveillance: Conduct regular foot patrols of the interior, exterior, guest floors, and parking lots to identify safety hazards or security breaches.
• Monitoring Systems: Use CCTV systems to monitor activity throughout the hotel, including entrances, exits, and public areas.
• Access Control: Monitor who enters and leaves the building to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.
• Emergency Response: Act as first responder to fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security threats, and coordinate with local law enforcement/emergency services.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts between guests or staff, handling situations diplomatically to ensure a safe, comfortable atmosphere.
• Guest Assistance & Escorts: Provide escorts for guests (e.g., intoxicated individuals or guests needing security) and assist with safety concerns.
• Reporting: Document daily activities, maintenance issues, or security breaches in detailed reports.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• License/Certification: Valid unarmed security guard license (depending on state) and CPR/First Aid certification are often required.
• Experience: Previous security experience is preferred but not always necessary; on-the-job training is common.

Skills:
• Strong observational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to remain alert.
