Allied Universal® is hiring a Fire Safety Manager. The on-site Fire Safety Manager is responsible for responding to fire safety incidents across the Dallas campus. To assist in the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients and staff, and the mitigation of fire related risks to the firm's assets, people and reputation through the delivery of a range of fire safety solutions.

High-Rise account located in Downtown Dallas

The salary range is $125,000 - $150,000 per year plus 100% coverage of health insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure inspection and maintenance records for fire protection equipment comply with customer and regulatory standards
• Audit fire prevention and other safety programs
• Complete scheduled fire service Inspections as assigned by the Fire / Life safety Coordinator
• Participate in training related to fire suppression systems, prevention, and emergency response
• Conduct incipient stage fire brigade training and safety drills
• Assist with loss prevention surveys and follow up on facility maintenance requirements
• Manage impairments to fire protection systems and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain complete and accurate reports and records
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Identify incident trends and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance during construction, renovations or demolition projects
• Recommend workflow or reporting Improvements for fire services
• Maintain data and records per customer retention requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, Fire & Life Safety, Emergency Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
• CFPS - Certified Fire Protection Specialist (NFPA) and/or NFPA Fire Inspector I/II, demonstrating applied expertise in fire code compliance, inspections, deficiency management, and life safety systems in complex occupied buildings.
• Fire Safety Director / Fire & Life Safety Director Certification (jurisdiction-specific), authorizing leadership of evacuation, emergency response, drills, and occupant life safety programs in high-rise environments.
• CEM - Certified Emergency Manager (IAEM) and/or FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) / National Incident Management System (NIMS) training, supporting coordinated response with first responders and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (United Kingdom - globally recognized) “NEBOSH" Fire Safety Certificate. (Demonstrates structured, risk-based fire safety management knowledge aligned with international best practices.)
• Institution of Occupational Safety and Health “IOSH" (Managing Safely (Fire). (Focuses on practical fire and life safety risk assessment, hazard control, and safety leadership
• CSP - Certified Safety Professional, or equivalent credentials demonstrating risk-based fire and life safety program leadership.
• Proven experience overseeing fire alarm and emergency voice/alarm communication systems, including testing, impairments, incident response, and integration with elevator recall, smoke control, and access-controlled egress typical of high-rise corporate office buildings.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 1 (Fire Code), NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm and Signaling Code), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), and applicable local amendments governing high-rise occupancies.
• Current and valid CPR/Basic First Aid / AED Certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Certified and trained to national standards as a Fire Inspector based on plant and legal requirements
• FEMA Certification ISO700.b, ISO100.c
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a group leadership role
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a fire prevention role
• Problem-solving and workload management skills under general supervision
• Proven ability to build evacuation strategies, run drills/exercises, and develop training for occupants and emergency response teams.
• Ability to operate independently and use sound professional judgment

• Ability to speak, read, and write multiple languages
