As a Security Guard Armed Driver Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct visible patrols, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post requiring professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Maintain readiness for an armed post assignment by following post orders, observing surroundings, and/or addressing situations that may require prompt escalation or law enforcement coordination.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
