Job Description

This role involves performing MIG and stick welding in an industrial production environment, focusing on fabrication and welding of stainless steel and other materials. You apply your welding skills to support both dedicated welding tasks and general production needs as required.

Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials, including stainless steel, according to specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out stick welding tasks as required to support fabrication and production activities.
• Fabricate components and assemblies using appropriate welding techniques and tools.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety and production standards.
• Collaborate with the production team and provide hands-on support on the production line when additional help is needed.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with industrial machinery and welding equipment.
• Adapt to changing production priorities and complete assigned tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of experience working as a welder in an industrial or production environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform stick welding safely and effectively.
• Experience working with stainless steel and other common fabrication materials.
• Strong understanding of basic fabrication techniques and welding processes.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and production requirements accurately.
• Willingness to assist on the production line when needed and work collaboratively with the production team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in a high-volume production or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery used in welding and fabrication environments.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in hot and sometimes dirty conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds and fabricated components.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr.
