Pizza Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager

- Applicants with Pizza Making Experience will be priortized
JobScope:
• Oversee daily operations from dough prep to oven to box – ensure every pizza meets recipe, temperature, and presentation standards.
• Enforce all food safety and sanitation protocols (ServSafe standards, local health codes).
• Manage inventory of cheese, sauce, toppings, dough, boxes, and smallwares; conduct weekly counts to reduce waste and theft.
• Schedule and oversee equipment maintenance (ovens, proofers, walk-in coolers, dough rollers).
• Ensure delivery drivers follow safety protocols, car topper use, and insurance requirements (if delivery offered).
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain all store staff (shift leads, pizza makers, drivers, cashiers).
• Create weekly schedules that control labor costs while ensuring adequate coverage for rushes.
• Conduct hands-on training for pizza tossing, topping portions, oven timing, and customer service.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Build a pipeline of internal candidates for Assistant Manager and Shift Lead roles.
